Apprenticeships

Are you thinking about your future career and are unsure what route is best to take? Whether you’re furthering your education or making a career change, an apprenticeship at HS2 could be right for you.

HS2 Ltd launched its first apprenticeships in 2017, welcoming 25 apprentices on a two year programme across three disciplines. Due to the programme’s success, we have continued to recruit apprentices each year and have now seen 133 apprentices joining across 19 schemes including Project Management, IT, Cyber Security and Business Administration. Over the lifecycle of the project, at least 2,000 apprenticeships will be created across Hs2 Ltd and its supply chain, covering a wide range of disciplines and specialisms.

HS2 is now at a critical stage in the project entering into the development of state-of-the-art rail systems, which will allow passengers to enjoy reliable intercity train services. As an apprentice you will work alongside industry professionals, have real influence on projects and gain valuable experience and qualifications on this once in a lifetime project. There has never been a more exciting time to jump onboard.
