What we are doing
A water main connection and associated testing, general verge works and reinstatement.
Location
Blackgrove Road and Aylesbury Road (between Waddesdon Hill junction and A41 roundabout) Waddesdon.
Duration
3 days Monday 6 July to Tuesday 7 July and Friday 16 July
What to expect
Blackgrove Road – lane closure with 2-way temporary traffic lights, operating 8.30am to 5.30pm on each day.
Aylesbury Road – lane closure with 3-way temporary traffic lights, operating 8.30am to 5.30pm on each day. The footway will be closed during the works, with no pedestrian access available.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
