How we're governed
We’re a public organisation, accountable for delivering HS2 safely and responsibly. Our board and executive management team lead the organisation and make the key decisions that keep the programme on track.
Together, we’re responsible for making sure HS2 is:
- designed, built and operated to the highest safety standards
- built and operated in a way that is sustainable and respectful of the communities, wildlife and places along the route
- reliable and easy to use for all passengers, and well connected to the existing rail network
We also work with our suppliers to build a skilled workforce that supports economic growth across the UK.
