Environmental Policy

HS2 Ltd’s updated Environmental Policy communicates our high-level environmental objectives. Our commitments on environmental protection have not changed and can be found in our environmental information papers for Phases 1 and 2a of the route.

The policy also acts to fulfil the environmental commitments established through HS2’s sustainability policy and our strategic goal of creating an environmentally sustainable solution and being a good neighbour to local communities.

The policy sets out 5 objectives that seek to guide and manage our potential environmental impacts.
