HS2 Benefits Update, June 2023
This is the fourth edition of the Benefits update, providing information on the benefits HS2 has delivered to businesses and individual across Great Britain.
The June benefits update focuses on how HS2 is supporting the levelling up agenda by awarding contracts to firms spread across the UK, providing jobs to local people who were previously out of work, and developing the diversity of the construction industry workforce.
It also highlights examples of environmental benefits being delivered through diesel-free construction sites, waste reduction, and preserving ecosystems by going underground.
