What we are doing

HS2 Ltd has currently paused any additional survey and construction works associated with the A515 junction improvement and Wood End Lane widening works. As a result of this Balfour Beatty have completed a safety review of the current conditions on site to consider the effects of the extended duration prior to construction work commencing.

It has been recommended that several tree stumps near to the kerb line should be ground down to remove any hazard associated with them. To complete this work, we will be putting 2-way traffic lights on Wood End Lane on the westbound side near to Vicars Croft Farm on Monday 3rd July.

Due to the nature of the machinery that will be used there will be some noise generated. We will endeavour to keep durations as short as possible and avoid leaving any machinery idling when not in use. All access to residents and businesses will be maintained throughout.
