What we are doing

What are we doing?
As part of our continued preparatory works for our internal haul roads and site access it is necessary to complete our junction off the new temporary roundabout on the A41, near Fleet Marston.
There will be a temporary lane closure in the area while these works are completed. Traffic management will be in place for approximately seven weeks beginning Wednesday, 10 November.
Further to these works, commencing at the end of November, EKFB will also be carrying out test piling. This work is necessary to find out more about the land we are working on and the load baring capability, in preparation for our works to construct the Thame Valley Viaduct.
When will these works take place?
During our first week, works will be carried out from Wednesday, 10 November – Friday, 12 November and require a temporary lane closure, off peak, from 9.00am to 3.30pm.
The following week we will only require temporary a lane closure on Monday 15th Nov and Tuesday 16th Nov, off peak, from 9.00am to 3.30 pm and Wednesday to Friday (17th – 19th Nov from 9.00am to 11.30am.
We will advise of further off-peak lane closures in due course, there may also be overnight lane closures for the movement of materials to our sites. We will work to open the roads to reduce disruption as soon as possible.
