What we are doing
We will be carrying out trial trenching, along a section of A5, near Hints, which will involve digging into the ground to establish what is underneath the surface. This will provide us with information on the location of underground utilities, which we need to assess as we develop our construction plans.
We will also be carrying out drainage surveys.
For the work to be completed in a safe environment, we will be temporary closing lane and laybys on this section of the A5.
