What we are doing
To facilitate an abnormal load delivering concrete beams to our Greatworth compound, there will be a closure to a layby on the A43 northbound, between the junction with the A421 and the junction with Broad Lane.
Location
A43 layby, near Brackley.
Duration
Monday 22 February to Tuesday 23 February, 24 hours a day.
What to expect
- Layby closure for 24 hours, no impact to main carriageway
- Short delays due to abnormal load deliveries
- Police escorted deliveries
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026.
