What we are doing
Our newsletters are an important way to update local communities on the progress of the HS2 project. This newsletter has been created specifically for the Calvert construction area (CA), located between Twyford and Quainton in Buckinghamshire. In this edition of our newsletter, we will be looking at the latest information on our works, community projects and events.
Construction update to include;
• How HS2 will take shape
• Perry Hill bridge completion
• Edgcott overbridge and Shipton Lee realignment
• Community news –
o Steeple Claydon school
o North Marsden festival
o Romney Meadows pond
o Grendon Underwood play area
o Wooden planter donation
o Quainton harvest auction
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
