What we are doing
From 5 January to 3 March 2026, we will be diverting power cables on Badminton Close, Mandeville Road and the Mandeville Road Vent Shaft site entrance.
There will be weekend works at the site entrance only on 31 January to 1 February and 7 to 8 February from 8am to 6pm.
During the Mandeville Road works, there will be a lane and footpath closure from the site entrance as far as Badminton Close. Bus stop B will be suspended and there will be a pedestrian diversion.
There will be parking bay suspensions on Badminton Close. Vehicle and pedestrian access will be maintained.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
