What we are doing
Our team will be working during the day over the Easter weekend to backfill excavated areas on College Crescent and Alexandra Road as part of our South Hampstead utility works on the following dates:
- Friday 3 April 2026, 8am to 5pm
- Saturday 4 April 2026, 8am to 4pm
- Monday 6 April 2026, 8am to 5pm
The road closure on Alexandra Road and the lane closure, with one way traffic only, on College Crescent, will remain in place. The traffic diversions and parking bay suspensions will remain. Bus stop G on College Crescent will remain suspended.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
