What we are doing

UPDATE – These works have been completed ahead of schedule and Moorhall Road was reopened on Thursday 17 August. We have also undertaken the works that would have required us to close the road overnight until Friday 25 August. These overnight closures are no longer needed and Moorhall Road is fully open. We have informed TfL that the 331 bus can be reinstated.

The Colne Valley Viaduct (CVV) will cross Moorhall Road at a point between Korda Lake and Savay Lake, just south of the Grand Union Canal. The building of the support structures for the crossing, and the crossing of the road itself, require a series of traffic management phases starting with a single lane closure, followed by overnight road closures and then a full road closure during the day and night to allow this to be done safely.  The phased road traffic management measures will start from Saturday 15 July to Friday 27 October 2023, with the full (day and night) road closure for all vehicles from Friday 28 July to Friday 18 August 2023.

HS2/Align will also run a shuttle bus, between Denham Station Parade and Belmont Road near Uxbridge Station, also stopping at Springbridge Nurseries. This shuttle service will run seven days a week, from 7am to 7pm approximately.  Please see timetable below.
