What we are doing
From 8am on Monday 3 February 2025 a section of the canal south of Harefield Marina will be closed during the daytimes for the installation of noise barriers. These are panels located along the top of the viaduct. The canal will be closed to all boats at a point just south of Harefield Marina, near Moorhall Road. This closure will enable Align JV to continue to construct the Colne Valley viaduct, which crosses the GUC in Hillingdon.
The works will take place from Monday 3 February 2025 to Saturday 8 February 2025, and from Monday 10 February 2025 to Saturday 15 February 2025. The closure will be from 8am to 6pm each day. The GUC will be open on Sundays during this period
