What we are doing
We are closing the temporary access to our site from the Station Road/ Hallmeadow Road roundabout on Tuesday 6th January 2026. This is so we can restore the land to its original condition and return it to the owner. As part of this work,we will remove a section of the temporary Kenilworth Greenway between Station Road and Public Right of Way (PRoW) M196. Users travelling towards Station Road will be diverted onto footpath M196 as indicated on the map.Access to PRoW M196 from Station Road will be via Sunnyside Lane and Barretts Lane.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
