Emergency Closure will be from Tuesday 9 December 2025 to Friday 12 December 2025. This will be off peak closure from 9.30am to 3.00pm Tuesday to Friday.
What we are doing
We are undertaking drainage repairs and cleaning the ditches along the carriageway.
What to expect
We are closing Lavender Hall Lane whilst we complete the repairs. We aim to complete this work as quickly as possible and reopen the carriageway. A fully signposted diversion route will be in place throughout the closure.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
