What we are doing
Earthworks, landscaping, drainage, stockpile management, Monday to Fridays from 08:00 to 18:00, and Saturdays from 13:00 to 17:00, with one hour before and after for set up and close down of activity.
Steel fixing and shuttering works at Leather Lane, as well as plant and compound maintenance across the site will take place on Saturdays from 13:00 to 17:00.
Road-maintenance activities will be carried out on Sundays from 08:00 to 17:00.

What to expect
Increased plant and machinery movements in the site, and additional noise from earthworks
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
