HS2: Maintaining Monitoring Equipment

What we are doing

As part of our ongoing essential maintenance works at Old Oak Common Station, we need to ensure that our monitoring equipment on the Great Western Mainline bridge on Old Oak Common Lane is operating as we expect. The purpose of the equipment is to measure the movement of rail bridges during our works.

In order to do this, we need to close a northbound lane of Old Oak Common Lane on Saturday 4 January 2025 between 1:30am and 4:30am for approximately one hour. The footpath will also be closed; however, pedestrians can still travel safely through controlled zones.

The location of the work is shown on the map on page two (link below).
These works are subject to approvals from the local authorities and therefore dates could change. We will let you know of any changes via the HS2 website and email notifications.
