What we are doing
In August 2021 we advised you of our continuing works in your area in relation to the construction of the bat house and the planned demolition works of Lower Thorpe Farmhouse and Twin Oaks. The construction of the bat house will shortly be completed and we will begin the demolition works.
In order to complete the demolition works safely and carefully, preserving as much of the material as possible, Banbury Lane will be closed intermittently between 09.00am and 4.00pm, from 4 April to 27 May 2022. The road will be open as normal outside of these hours.
Weekly updates will be provided to the Parish Clerk on when the road closures will be in place and temporary road closure and diversion signage will be displayed, advising when the road is closed.
In the unlikely event of any unforeseen emergency works, Banbury Lane may need to be closed overnight.
Emergency services on a blue light call will be given access through the road closure.
