What we are doing
Atlas Road Roundabout
Roundabout to be reopened from 22 December to 4 January 2022
The Atlas Road Logistics Tunnel Utility Protection works will continue at Atlas Road roundabout until 22 December 2021 when the site will be demobilised for the Christmas period. During this time the excavations in the road will be backfilled, reinstated and the four-way traffic lights removed from the roundabout until 4 January 2022. From 4 January 2022 works will resume at the roundabout under four-way lights. From the end of January, the site location will move from Atlas Road to Old Oak Common Lane, further information regarding these works will be made available in January 2022.
Victoria Road
Traffic management to remain in place during the Christmas period
CSJV will continue with the water commissioning works near to the Vehicle Holding Area at the southern end of Victoria Road, works will break up for Christmas on 24 December and will resume on 4 January 2022. The traffic management system will remain in place over the Christmas period. These works are due for completion in February 2022. We apologise in advance for inconvenience this might cause. Utility supplies and other services will not be affected by these works.
School Road
Traffic Management measures in place from 4 January 2022
From Tuesday 4 January until the 15 January CSJV will be carrying out Sewer Lining works in School Road, upgrading the local sewer network. These works will be conducted in phases, beginning to the west of School Road and progressing east before returning in the opposite direction along the opposite side of the road. No excavations will be required during these works as the access to complete the sewer lining will be via manholes situated within the carriageway. While these works are carried out a closure of the School Road junction with Victoria Road will be in place for through-traffic on nights. School Road businesses will still have access to School Road entrances and be able to use School Road as a two-way road. A diversionary route will be in place via Chase Road and Chandos Road for any through-traffic. School Road will still be open with narrow lanes in place during the day.
