What we are doing
As part of the construction of the Nash Lee Road realignment there will be temporary traffic management, in the form of daytime lane closures, on Nash Lee Road between
9.00am and 3.00pm, beginning Monday 26 September to Friday 21 October 2022.
These lane closures will allow us to establish a temporary plant and vehicle crossing point further connecting our internal road network which will be in use until the new Nash Lee Road realignment is operational.
We expect the plant crossing to be in use by late October.
To help reduce our impact on the local area, this new realignment will include a bridge for local traffic to pass over HS2 works while construction vehicles will travel under the bridge.
Throughout the course of this closure, our team will also be carrying out works to transition the drainage systems between the current system and new temporary diversion.
Works will take place between 9am and 3pm – Monday to Friday. Some additional weekend work may also take place.
