What we are doing

Overnight installation of rainbow crossing
To celebrate LGBT+ history month and celebrate inclusivity in the local area, SCSJV with agreement with Ealing Council will be converting the existing pedestrian crossing on Victoria Road, at the traffic lights between the Castle Pub and Holbrook House, into a rainbow crossing.
The rainbow is an iconic symbol within the LGBT+ community and worldly recognised as a symbol of pride. We hope the crossing will encourage people to think about diversity and inclusivity in their local communities.

Temporary overnight Road changes on Victoria Road
To carry out these works safely and minimise the impact to the road network, work will take place overnight on 26 February between the hours of 10pm and 5am the morning of 27 February. During these works we will need to close a section of road on Victoria Road to paint the crossing markings. A signed vehicle diversion route will be in place during.
We will also need to temporarily close bus stop North Action Station (Stop Z) next to the Holiday Inn Express on Victoria Road overnight. The next closest stops are Chase Road North Acton (Stop U), North Acton Station (Stop B) and Wales Farm Road (Stop C).
