What we are doing
As part of our continued construction activity in the area, we are required to close Wills Pastures Road.
Our team have looked at several ways to maintain access, however, due to the significant earthworks in this location, for safety reasons it has not been possible. Farm and residential access on Wills Pastures Road near to the A423 Banbury Road will not be affected.
Over the two year closure, this section of road will be redesigned into a bridleway and once reopened, will provide connectivity to the Public Rights of Way known as SM95 and SM116.
The new Wills Pastures Bridleway will pass under the HS2 railway line at Lower Radbourne South Viaduct.
Wills Pastures Road will be closed from Monday 26 September 2022 until the permanent redesign of the road into a bridleway is completed in 2024.
