What we are doing
In preparation for the construction of the A423 Banbury Road Overbridge we will be carrying out various works along the A423, between Ladbroke and Southam, throughout early November.
In early November, there will be the removal of an overhead power line that passes over the A423, as well as localised vegetation clearance and soft verge maintenance. Our workforce will be working very close to the highway and for reasons of safety there will be traffic management in the form of daytime two-way traffic lights for approximately 2 weeks.
The exact location, lane closure length and traffic light duration along the A423 will vary as the work progresses. There may also be a brief traffic halt, lasting no longer than approximately 15 minutes, during the overhead power cable removal.
The A423 Banbury Road will have temporary traffic management, in the form of traffic lights, from 8.00am to 6.00pm from Saturday 5 November to Friday 18 November 2022.
