What we are doing
From 8am to 4pm on 16 March, with a contingency date of 17 March 2026, we will be installing monitoring equipment at the Hampstead Britannia Hotel on Fellows Road, Camden.
We had started these works in late January and early February 2026 but due to weather issues these work were not completed. The works have now been rescheduled to be completed on the dates above.
During the works there will be a temporary road and footway closure on Fellows Road, opposite the hotel. A vehicle and pedestrian diversion will also be in place.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
