What we are doing
We will close the lanes on the corner of Parkway and Delancey Street to make way for surveys and utility works within the road.
From 9 to 27 May, there will be no left-hand turn from Delancey Street onto Parkway. We will divert traffic via Gloucester Avenue, Regent’s Park Road, St Mark’s Square and Prince Albert Road.
Cyclist and pedestrian access will not be impacted by these lane closures. We will maintain the pedestrian crossings and cycles lanes across the junction.
UK Power Networks will work in this area from 9 to 13 May followed with a trial hole in the same area from 15 to 27 May.
There may be periods of increased noise as we excavate the road to expose utility services, and as we fill in these holes once the works are complete. We will use acoustic blankets to limit noise where possible.
