What we are doing
In 2025 we began installation of concrete piles and drainage systems, along the HS2 route from Copthall Tunnel to West Ruislip Portal sites.
These works are ongoing as we prepare to install noise barriers west and east of Breakspear Road South, south of the Ruislip Golf Course and north of the Chiltern Line. Installation of the noise barriers is expected to start in spring/summer 2026.
Works are ongoing to construct the permanent flood compensation areas north of the HS2 bridge along the Celandine Route diversion. We will also be working on permanent fencing and landscaping around the flood compensation area and U46 footpath.
