What we are doing
The letter below provides an overview of Network Rail planned railway improvement works between Euston Station and Primrose Hills tunnels during the next three month period between 1 March to 31 May 2024.
Work is continuing to bring some of the work for HS2 in the Euston area to a safe stop whilst other vital work that needs to continue in preparation for High Speed 2 (HS2) that cannot be paused will continue. To keep our staff safe, we may need to work at times that cause the least disruption to train services and passengers which can include weeknights and weekends. We’re sorry if our work disturbs you. We’ll make every effort to reduce disturbance where we can. We’ll put noise barriers up where it is safe to do, use silenced generators and have continuous noise monitoring to ensure that noise levels are kept within agreed limits. Our staff will also be regularly briefed on the importance of working responsibly in the local community.
