What we are doing
Dear neighbour,
We’ll be working near you in November and December, including Christmas to replace the tracks, railway stones and drains. I’m sorry for the short notice of our first shift. Some of the equipment we’ll be using includes machinery, engineering trains, power tools and lights, which I’m sorry, may cause some noise and light disturbance. We’ll try to keep disruption to a minimum. Our shifts will be as follows:
- 22:00 – 06:00 Sunday 14 Novemberto Monday 15 November
- 23:40 – 07:45 Saturday 11 December to Sunday 12 December
- 20:00 – 13:00 Saturday 18 Decemberto Sunday 19 December
- 24-hr working from 21:05 Friday 24 December to 07:30 Tuesday 27 December
- 22:00 – 06:00 each night from Tuesday 28 December to Friday 31 December
Our staff will be setting up a compound for welfare cabins and lights off Station Approach, NW10 4XA. This compound and Canterbury Terrace, NW6 5DY will also be used as our access points to the track, so you may notice increased activity in these areas.
