What we are doing
Outstanding minor works to signage, verges, the footway and crossings in various areas along the new road. We’ll need to close the road while we complete these works to create a safe work zone.

Duration
4 Nights – Friday 24 April to Tuesday 28 April, overnight (8.30pm to 5.30am). The road will be open during the day.
What to expect
Full overnight road closure, with signposted diversion route.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
