What we are doing
Reinstalling permanent traffic lights at A41/Station Road – in late October, permanent traffic lights will be reinstalled at the junction of the A41 Bicester Road and Station Road, near Waddesdon, replacing the current temporary traffic management in place.
New A41 Bicester Road signage – in October and November, we will be installing permanent road signage along the realigned A41 Bicester Road near Waddesdon and Fleet Marston. A41 Bicester Road de vegetation – in late October, we will be removing two small trees alongside the existing A41 at the Fleet
Marston temporary roundabout close to the EKFB compound. This is to allow realignment of underground utilities. There will be no impact to traffic.
Installing permanent traffic management – on Monday 27 October 9am to 1pm, 2-way temporary traffic management will be in place at A41 Bicester Road and Station Road.
New A41 Bicester Road signage installation – from Monday 27 October to Friday 7 November:
• Monday 27 October 8:30pm to 5:30am Friday 31 October – full overnight closures new A41 Bicester Road (4 nights).
• Friday 31 October 8.30pm to 5:30am Saturday 1 November – full overnight closure narrow Bicester Road (1 night)
• Monday 3 November 8:30pm to 5:30am Wednesday 5 November – full overnight closure narrow Bicester Road (2 nights)
• Wednesday 5 November 8:30pm to 5:30am Saturday 8 November – full overnight road closures on new A41Bicester Road (3 nights)
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
