What we are doing
New A41 Bicester Road signage – in October and November, we will be installing permanent road signage along the realigned A41 Bicester Road near Waddesdon and Fleet Marston.
A41 Bicester Road de vegetation – in late October, we will be removing two small trees alongside the existing A41 at the Fleet Marston temporary roundabout close to the EKFB compound. This is to allow realignment of underground utilities. There will be no impact to traffic.
New A41 Bicester Road signage installation – from Monday 27 October to Saturday 8 November:
• Monday 27 October 8:30pm to 5:30am Thursday 30 October –full overnight closures new A41 Bicester Road and Blackgrove Road North (3 nights)
• Monday 27 October to 8.30pm to 5.30am Saturday 1 November – full overnight road closure old Bicester Road (5 nights)
• Monday 3 November 8:30pm to 5:30am Wednesday 5 November – full overnight closure old Bicester Road (2 nights)
• Wednesday 5 November 8.30pm to 5.30am Saturday 8 November – full overnight road closure on new A41 Bicester Road and Blackgrove Road (3 nights)

• Wednesday 29 October (9am to 3pm) – no traffic management or lane closure required.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
