What we are doing

BBV HS2 M6 Main Compound – Coleshill Heath Road, Chelmsley Wood.
Duration
HS2 site demobilisation works:
From 8am on Monday 2 March until 6pm Friday 30 June 2026.
Saturday working hours during this period:
Each Saturday during the stated period, work will take place between 10am and 1pm. There will be no Sunday work.
What we are doing
We will be carrying out demolition activities, including the safe removal of the existing office and welfare units, along with landscaping and fencing works.
What to expect
• Low level noise from our works site.
• Our other HS2 sites within the local area will remain unaffected and work will continue as planned.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
