What we are doing
What we are doing
From 23 to 25 June 2021, we will be removing a brick building at the Mandeville Road vent shaft site, in the area shown on the map overleaf. These works will be during core working hours Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Removing the existing building will enable us to make space for a larger temporary office to be installed at our site.
We will use a water cannon to supress dust during these works. To reduce the noise and vibration during this work, we will use mechanical jaws to pull apart the building. For safety reasons, an exclusion zone will be in place in the access track for Carr Road.
How the work might affect you
The site team will install barriers in the rear access track of Carr Road and site personnel will be present at all times to supervise the area for the duration of these works. A water canon will be used to supress dust.
