What we are doing
We will be resurfacing a section of the junction at Ashow Road and Crewe Lane.

Duration
Monday 2 February 2026 there will be a daytime road closure on B4115 Ashow Road at the junction of Crewe Lane from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
What to expect
You may notice increased levels of construction activity and some minor travel disruption.
There will be a fully signed diversion in place to help drivers navigate their way. Access to properties, and for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the works.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
