Notice of demolition works – Wycombe Line wingwall (east)

What we are doing

As we continue with the construction programme at Old Oak Common station site, we need to remove a Wycombe Line wingwall which is within the HS2 work site boundary and adjacent to Old Oak Common Lane.

The removal of the wingwall is required as part of the power cable diversion works, for details please follow this link.

The demolition of the Wycombe Line wingwall will take place between 8am and 5pm with an hour to set up and shut down on either side of these hours, from 3 June until 7 June 2024. The wingwall will be removed using handheld breakers, petrol saws and an excavator. To reduce the impact from these works we will use water to suppress dust and erect sound barriers and debris netting. We will not require any traffic management for this phase of the works.
