What we are doing
Extended working hours
Works are ongoing at our site at Mandeville Road to install sheet piling in preparation for excavation, ahead of construction of the ventilation shaft. We will need to carry out these works during extended working hours on a Saturday.
From Saturday 5 February until Saturday 26 March 2022, we will be extending our working hours from 1pm to 6.30pm on Saturdays. This will include close down time.
The extended hours on Saturdays will be used for the installation of sheet piles.
For the duration, we will adopt a three on, one off pattern, working three consecutive weekends with one weekend off to provide respite for residents.
We will continue to monitor noise, dust and vibration throughout our works to ensure that we have adequate measures in place to minimise disruption.
How these works might affect you
During the works, you may notice much larger construction equipment and machinery at our site including heavy goods vehicles, piling, excavating machinery and cranes.
We would like to apologise in advance for any disruption or inconvenience this may cause. Every effort is being taken to ensure that these works are carried out in the least impactful way. We will ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum.
