What we are doing
To help us finalise the detailed designs of the new railway and ensure we can reinstate features after construction has been completed, we are required to survey the area regularly. Surveying is used to establish the locations and sizes of walkways, buildings, underground utilities, road layouts and more.
On this occasion we will be undertaking survey works along the Wendover Bypass and the A413 near World’s End.
To carry out these surveys safely and effectively we will introduce narrowed lanes on Wendover Bypass throughout the duration of these works.
This will also include a temporary two-way traffic light on the A413 between the bypass and World’s End roundabout.
When will these works take place?
- Tuesday 23 January – Thursday 25 January 2024 (9am – 5pm)
Wendover Bypass narrowed lanes and A413 traffic lights operational during working hours.
These dates are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control but will be completed in or around the anticipated time
schedules. Should we finish the works early, the narrowed lanes will be removed.
