What we are doing
We will be doing a routine inspection of Charndon Lodge overbridge. Access to be maintained to BBOWT and Sailing Club.
Location
Gawcott Road, either side of Charndon Lodge overbridge which carries the East West Rail line.
Duration
Night time closure on Gawcott Road on 28 February between 10pm and 12am.
What to expect
Closure of a small section of Gawcott Road.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
