What we are doing
Since July 2022, we have successfully delivered our tunnel segments without the need for any traffic management. We will soon be receiving the delivery of a particularly wide precast tunnel segment. This segment, which includes some additional design features, will require a lane closure for the safety of road users.
To safely deliver this abnormal load, the southbound carriageway of the A361 will be closed off-peak, for a short period between 5am and 9am, on Sunday 24 March 2024, with a back up date of 7 April 2024.
