Notice of Public Rights of Way Closures in North Wendover

What we are doing

From April 29, we will be commencing works within the farmland behind Bridleways, at the end of Dobbins Lane. These works will support the local watercourses to maintain their flow and ensure that the local brooks and rivers maintain their supply to Turville Reservoir once the Wendover Green Tunnel has been built.

There will be some works on the entrance to the farm track, just on the corner with Dobbins Lane and Bridleways. We will be digging some utility trial holes and will be laying a pipe to take water across the fields. A concrete slab will be poured to protect the entrance to the field and the utilities underneath, and a stone track will be created within the field.

We will be closing in stages the three footpaths in the area to ensure public safety. These are WEN/10/1, WEN/8/2 and WEN/9/4. Please see the map in the link below for the location and dates of the footpath closures. The closures are being staggered so that access to the area is always maintained from one of the footpaths.

When will these works take place?

• Monday 29 April – Friday 17 May 2024

These dates may be subject to change due to circumstances outside of our control but will be completed on or around the timings specified.
