What we are doing
Railway surveys planned during late July and August
During late-July and August 2021, we will be carrying out surveys on the railway tracks between Euston to Greenford.
The purpose of the surveys is to record the condition of railway bridges between Euston and Greenford. The surveys will also help us to record the horizontal and vertical location of the bridges in relation to other structures along the HS2 route.
The locations and planned dates for the surveys are included below:
• Greenford to West Gate – 17 to 19 July and 24 to 26 July
• Old Oak Common to Greenford – 18 July to 25 July
• Euston to South Hampstead – 31 July to 1 August and 14 to 15 August
• Euston to Kensal Green – 21 to 26 August
The surveys will be carried out on weekends and overnight when trains are not using the railway. We will use localised task lighting and handheld equipment to carry out the surveys. You should not be affected by the surveys.
