Notice of road closure A4010, Risborough Road

What we are doing

In Autumn 2023, we completed the installation of the temporary bridge which is used for the movement of our site vehicles, reducing the construction traffic on the A4010.

Now the bridge has been in use for several months, we need to undertake routine inspections and maintenance to ensure the continued safe operation of the structure.

To carry out these maintenance works we will be closing the road and adjacent footpath overnight. This is for safety reasons as our operatives will be working in and around the carriage way.

By doing the works overnight, we are reducing the impact on road users while the maintenance is being undertaken. Future maintenance works will be conducted periodically while the bridge is in operation.

When will these works take place?

• Monday 19 February – 8:30pm to 5:30am Tuesday 20 February

These dates may change due to conditions outside of our control but we will endeavour to complete them in or around the dates suggested above.

Please refer to the HS2 website regularly to check for any changes and updates.

Access will be maintained for residents and emergency services.
