What we are doing
Works are continuing at Bottom House Farm Lane in Chalfont St Giles as this is the location of one of the Chiltern Tunnel’s ventilation shafts.
The previously advised works relating to the construction of the A413 junction will be completed shortly. Local lane traffic requiring access and egress to the existing lane are now using the new junction to join the temporary access road and returning to the existing lane once crossing the River Misbourne.
The final works required to complete the A413 junction, including road closures on the A413, will take place from the week commencing 1 March 2021. Further details for this phase of construction are detailed later in this notice.
To enable the completion of the new junction at Bottom House Farm Lane we need to undertake some overnight diversions on the A413. This is required to safely complete activities for the final road surfacing, traffic light installation and white lining.
