What we are doing
Location
B4453 Rugby Road, Cubbington.
Duration
Phase one: Monday 2 February to Saturday 21 February 2026 there will be a full road closure in place on B4453 Rugby Road.
Phase two: Monday 27 April to Friday 1 May 2026 there will be temporary traffic lights overnight and at the weekend.
What we are doing
During phase one, we will construct a new access for a local business. During phase two, we will complete the utility connections for BT and Seven Trent
Water.
What to expect
Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the works. There will be a fully signed diversion in place to help drivers navigate their way.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
