Monday 30 March – Sunday 26 April 2026, A full road closure will be in place 24/7 including the four weekends.
What we are doing
The new cycle bridge will be delivered to site.The bridge deck will then be lifted and lowered into position ready to connect to the abutments.
What to expect
Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be limited at times to ensure public safety during construction activity. There will be a fully signed posted diversion route in place.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
