What we are doing
We are constructing the Shipton Lee Road realignment over the new Edgcott overbridge.
The road will be closed to construct the new road realignment over the new Edgcott overbridge, demolish the existing bridge and complete finishing works. The road will re-open on the new alignment.
The new end date for these works reflects a technical change which means additional works must be undertaken to the structure. To carry out these works safely and effectively we will need to put in place a road closure with signed diversions.
