What we are doing
In September, we will be completing the second phase of our A41 realignment works to connect the road to the newly built roundabout near Waddesdon.
Prior to the realignment works, we will be undertaking utility works on a section of the A41 around Fleet Marston, between Waddesdon and Aylesbury. To carry out these works safely and effectively, the road will be closed for three consecutive nights. This is for reasons of safety, as our operatives will be working on and around the carriageway.
For our realignment works, the road will be closed between Waddesdon Hill and Waddesdon for 24 hours on three weekends in September, with one contingency weekend in October.
Access to properties along the A41 will be maintained throughout all closures.
When will these works take place?
- Overnight road closures:
- Friday 6 September – Monday 9 September, 8:30pm – 5:30am
- 24-hour road closures:
- Friday 13 September 8:30pm – Monday 16 September 5:30am
- Friday 20 September 8:30pm – Monday 23 September 5:30am
- Friday 27 September 8:30pm – Monday 30 September 5:30am
- Friday 4 October 8:30pm – Monday 7 October 5:30am
