Notice of road closures, A418 Oxford Road (Oct – Nov 2024)

What we are doing

Following the closures over the summer, we will be closing the A418 Oxford Road in October and November in order to bring the new road alignment we have been building into use. This will culminate in the reopening of the new section of road in November this year. Part of the old A418 Oxford Road will remain for residents access only. There will be a weekend closure during October and a further 1-week closure in late October/early November. There is an additional weekend closure identified as contingency in November in case the works are delayed due to circumstances beyond our control.

• Friday 18 October 8:30pm – Monday 21 October 5:30am
• Friday 25 October 8:30pm – Monday 4 November 5:30am (1 week closure)
• Friday 15 November 8:30pm – Monday 18 November 5:30am (Contingency weekend)
