Notice of road closures for surveys on Shaw Lane, Crawley Lane and by Fradley Junction

What we are doing

We will be carrying out topographical surveys. To complete the surveys, a team of engineers will visit the locations and use a digital measure or camera to record what is present in the area using a digital measure. This will include recording the location and sizes of features such as hedges, grid covers, kerbs, road layout and existing road markings.

When the work will take place

The work will take place from Monday 17 January to Monday 24 January We will be working between 9am and 3.30pm. Please note that all our planned roadworks may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

How this will affect your journey

To carry out the work safely we need to close some local roads. We will close the roads during the day from 9am to 3.30pm. Please details below. During any closures, we will put a signed diversion route in place and maintain access to properties and businesses within the closure.
• Shaw Lane – closed from Monday 17 January to Wednesday 19 January. The signed diversion route is shown in blue on the map below.
• Crawley Lane – closed from Thursday 20 January to Friday 21 January. The signed diversion route in is shown in orange on the map below.
• Fradley Junction to the A513 – closed on Monday 24 January. The signed diversion route is shown in green on the map below.

How we will minimise disruption

The nature of the work is non-intrusive and should not affect nearby properties. We will maintain access to all properties within the traffic management set up.
