What we are doing
Single lane closure – where, when and why
Temporary traffic lights are planned to be in operation along the A425 Leamington Road, Southam, from Monday 10 January 2022 until Saturday 5 February 2022 for 24 hours a day seven days a week.
During the works period we will be carrying out early preparatory work which includes vegetation clearance, Ground Penetration Radar (GPR), topography surveys and trial holes to locate underground utilities.
A rolling lane closure will take place along the A425 in order to carry out the above works. This work will be carried out between 7am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, however the temporary traffic lights will be in operation 24 hours a day seven days a week for safety reasons. In order to ease traffic flows during busy periods the traffic lights will have marshalls, they will be present between 8am and 6pm.
